Volunteer

Volunteers are essential to the success of ODAS. Whether individually or as a group, volunteers help accomplish projects and enrich the lives of the animals in our care. Opportunities include dog walking, cat cuddling, cleaning and more!

Foster

Old Drum Animal Shelter utilizes individuals or families willing to open their homes and hearts to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for shelter animals in certain circumstances.  Although Old Drum Animal Shelter maintains ownership of the animals, foster parents are responsible for the health and well-being of the foster animals in their care.

Join the Board

The executive board of Old Drum Animal Rescue is made up of seven members of Johnson County, Missouri.   These members are a vital part of keeping the shelter running. They participate in monthly board meetings, committees, fundraising and essential business functions.
